Terms and conditions
Last updated September 18, 2026
These terms apply when you use this website or request an estimate from Motion Landscaping & Land Clearing ("Motion Landscaping," "we," or "us"). By using this website, you agree to them.
The short version
- Estimates are free, and nothing starts until you approve one.
- Your approved estimate or written agreement governs the work itself.
- Photos show past jobs, and every property is different.
- Florida law applies.
About us
We are an owner operated land clearing and site work company based in Port St. Joe, Florida. We serve Port St. Joe, Panama City, Wewahitchka, Cape San Blas, and the surrounding Gulf County area. Whether we can take a job depends on the property, our schedule, and conditions on the ground.
Using this website
Please use this website lawfully. You agree to send us only true information about yourself and your property, and to leave alone anything that would disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the website. Copying its content for commercial use requires our written permission.
We may change, update, or take down any part of this website at any time.
Estimate requests
Sending the estimate form or calling us starts a conversation. It creates no contract and no obligation for you or for us.
We will contact you to set a time to look at the property. Estimates are free.
Estimates and approval
- Your estimate is based on what we see on site and what you tell us about the property.
- Work starts only after you approve the estimate.
- The approved estimate or written agreement sets the scope, price, payment terms, and timing of your job.
- If the approved estimate or written agreement conflicts with these terms, the estimate or agreement controls.
- Pricing can change if the scope changes or if time passes before you approve, so we confirm the price before work starts.
Site conditions
Ground work involves things nobody can see from the surface. Your price or timeline may change if we find:
- Buried debris, concrete, old foundations, or trash
- Rock, large roots, or soil that behaves differently than expected
- Old or condemned septic tanks, wells, or buried lines
- Standing water or saturated ground
If we find something that changes the job, we will stop, explain it, and get your approval before doing extra work at extra cost.
Your responsibilities as the property owner
- Confirm that you own the property or have the owner's permission for the work.
- Show us your property lines, easements, and anything you know is buried, such as septic systems, irrigation, or private lines. When boundaries matter, a survey is the safest guide.
- Tell us about any HOA rules, deed restrictions, or permits you know apply. Permits and approvals the job needs are covered in your estimate.
- Give our equipment safe access, and keep people, pets, and vehicles clear of the work area while we work.
Underground utilities
Florida law requires a Sunshine 811 locate request before digging, so public utility lines can be marked. We make that request before we dig. Sunshine 811 does not mark private lines on your side of the meter, such as irrigation, septic lines, or lines to outbuildings, so please tell us where yours are.
Weather and scheduling
Rain, saturated ground, storms, and hurricane season on the Gulf Coast all affect when we can work. Start dates are our best estimate, and we may reschedule for weather, ground conditions, or equipment issues. We will keep you posted, and we are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control.
Payment
Payment terms, deposits, and accepted payment methods are set out in your estimate or invoice.
Photos, reviews, and website content
- Photos on this website show real jobs. Every property is different, and results depend on its conditions.

- We may photograph our work for this website and our social media. We will ask before showing anything that identifies you or your address.
